Augustinian Recollect Sisters

The Augustinian Recollect Sisters, one of the beneficiary of our 2013 Visayas Natural Calamity Appeal sent us the following note and photos.

“We express our sincerest thanks in including us, to be one of the beneficiaries of your kindness and generosity.  Indeed, the God of all goodness who can never be outdone in generosity will certainly reward each one of you for your help and assistance to the congregation and the people of Leyte, particularly in Alang-alang.”

The Augustinian Recollect Sisters used the donations received by:

– helping rebuild the Holy Trinity College in Alang-alang, Leyte which was devastated by the super typhoon Haiyan

– giving 2 truckloads of relief goods and feeding two barangays (villages) of more or less 1,500 people in Alang-alang Leyte

– St Paul Academy of Bantayan Cebu will also be given aid
