Q: How can I participate in this Barrio Fiesta sa London?
A: The Barrio Fiesta sa London is a two-day free event open to the public. Everyone is invited to attend the fiesta on 15th & 16th July 2017 to participate in the festivities.
Q: What can people expect to see or experience at the event?
A: The Philippine Centre and TFC shall provide an entire weekend of pure Pinoy fun and entertainment by featuring the best of Filipino cultural performances and production numbers from Kapamilya stars flown from the Philippines. It aims to bring together and capture the unique qualities and spectacles of the Philippine’s fiesta.
Q: Where is the event going to take place?
A: The 33rd Barrio Fiesta sa London will be held at the same venue as last year, Apps Court Farm near Hampton Court, Walton-on-Thames, KT12 2EG Surrey.
Q: What time should I be there? Is there a schedule of activities that I need to know?
There are activities/programs scheduled each day which includes Santacruzan and other Cultural performances. The Kapamilya Artists’ Segment will start early at 1pm to ensure that we finish early so that the people can exit the site in a gradual manner and ensure a better traffic flow.

Q: How do I apply for a food/marketing stall?

Q: How do I get to the venue?
A: BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The nearest overground station is Hampton Court station through Southwest Trains coming from Waterloo, Vauxhall, Clapham Junction, Earlsfield and Wimbledon. To serve you better, we’ve added staff on our shuttle service and is now £2 for a round-trip from Hampton Court Station to Apps Court Farm. It will be available during the two-day event. It will run every 10 mins during the following times:
Hampton Court Station to Apps Court Farm: 8:00 – 18:00
Apps Court Farm to Hampton Court Station: 8:20 – 19:30
Southwest Trains Management has been working with the Barrio Fiesta organisers and has committed to improve its services this year. They will be adding coaches during the weekend. Barrio Fiesta public announcement will also be installed in all stations leading to Hampton Court Station to ensure that all commuters are properly guided throughout the journey. Barrio Fiesta directional signs will also be placed in Hampton Court Station to direct all fiesta-goers to the buses’ pick-up point.

If travelling by bus, we advise for attendees to get off at Hampton Court station and get on the shuttle buses.

BY CAR OR COACH:
Attendees who are travelling by car or coach can park at the HUGE parking onsite facility. Those coming from Hampton Court area will enter through Gate 1 and will have a designated carpark and exit. Those coming from Walton-in-Thames will enter through Gate 2 and will have a designated carpark and exit.
Car and coach parking is £15.
Motorists displaying a valid BLUE Badge parking is FREE
FAQs: VIP TICKETS
Q: How much and how do we avail of the paid VIPs?
A: VIP ticket costs £45 per person per day or £80 if you buy two (2) tickets. Buy your VIP ticket before 31 May 2017 to avail of the Early Bird Promo for only £35! Includes a VIP seat by the stage area, a photo opportunity with the artists who will perform on that day and a roundtrip bus ride from Hampton Court Station to Apps Court Farm. Children below 12 years old MUST BE accompanied by an adult and present a valid ticket. Parents and/or guardians should also sign a waiver form. Price of tickets will be the same for adults and children as well. We will not offer any discount to TFC subscribers as we are doing a separate raffle if you join our online promotion.

FAQs: PHOTO-OP and OTHER PROMOS
Q: Are there opportunities to take photos or get autographs from guest celebrities?
A: Given the huge number of attendees of the Barrio Fiesta sa London year-on-year, and the limited availability of the artists, the organizers can only allow WINNERS of Photo-op passes and paid VIPs to take photos and/or get autographs with the ABS-CBN Kapamilya Celebrity Guests. However, everyone is free to bring their own cameras to take photos of artists while performing on stage.
Q: How can I get photo-op passes?
A: Photo-op passes can only be availed only through the ff: mechanics

Q: Are there other companies doing promotions at the event?
A: Yes, there are various Filipino targeted companies doing their marketing/selling promotions at the event. They have their own promotions and offerings (e.g. freebies, raffles, etc) that attendees can enjoy.
FAQs: OTHER EVENT MUST-KNOWS
Q: Are there other food/drinks on sale at the event?
We have a wide selection of caterers who sell Filipino and non-Filipino food/drinks around the venue. Please make sure you bring cash as some booths don’t accept card as payment.
Q: Will there be booths offering depots for luggage?
A: For those travelling from other parts of the UK/Europe who plan to bring their luggage at the event, you are strongly advised NOT to bring any suitcases or heavy items with you, as it will not be possible to leave/store these anywhere at the venue for Health and Safety / Security reasons.
Q: In case of rain or too much heat of the sun, can I bring or set up any personal tents, parasol, shelters etc? Is there a shaded area to rest?
A: Bringing or setting up of any such items is prohibited in the main arena of the Barrio fiesta. Any tents set up in the field will be taken down by Security for Health and Safety reasons, as well as for the comfort / welfare of other attendees.
Please ensure that you also bring sufficient supplies of sun cream/ medication/ inhalers, etc as these will not be available on site.
We will be providing a rest area for those fiesta-goers who wish get some shade throughout the day. We will allow tents in the rest area only (refer to the site plan). No tents will be allowed in the main arena for health & safety reasons.
Q: Are there toilets, baby changing or first aid facilities on site?
A: There is a vast number of portable toilets around the venue that are available for all fiesta goers. We will be installing more toilets/urinals to address long queues. The venue also has a well-equipped first aid facility, with paramedics / nurse / ambulance on site in case of any emergency/ies.
Q: Will there be ATMs onsite?
A: No, we will not provide ATMs onsite so please bring enough cash throughout the Barrio Fiesta.

Q: Can we stay overnight at Apps Court Farm?
A: There are camping and caravan facilities onsite. Please contact Apps Court Farm (firstname.lastname@example.org) directly to enquire on prices and book in advance.
Q: How many attendees are expected this year?
A: This year is big for both the Barrio Fiesta and TFC respectively thus we expect that the attendance will be high. We are implementing a new layout for both the carparks and the main arena as well to ensure speedy internal traffic flow. The venue will still offer other amenities such as quad biking, fishing and caravan camping. Also, Hampton Court and Kingston-Upon-Thames offer tourist attractions that fiesta-goers can visit in between the Barrio Fiesta.

A: Yes, there will be a fun fair, Volleyball tournament and other sporting activities. In addition, Apps Court Farm has onsite facilities for archery, quad biking, fishing and caravan camping. Q: What are the wristbands being handed out to children and other vulnerable persons for?
A: These are to write a contact mobile number in case they go missing and when found we are able to contact a relative or carer.
